What are prebiotics, probiotics and postbiotics?

Prebiotics: Feed the good bacteria
Prebiotics are special fibres that provide fuel for beneficial bacteria already living in the gut, helping them thrive.

Probiotics: Add beneficial bacteria
Probiotics are live beneficial microorganisms. The Gut uses a 4-strain blend, including resilient, spore-forming Bacillus probiotics, designed to withstand the journey through digestion and reach the gut.

Postbiotics: The benefits left behind
Postbiotics are beneficial substances and components produced by or derived from microorganisms. They can interact with the gut and help support a healthy gut environment, without needing to be live bacteria themselves.

In simple terms: Prebiotics feed them, Probiotics add them, and Postbiotics support the gut with beneficial microbial products.

Can I use The Gut treats as training treats or food toppers?

Absolutely! The Gut treats are versatile and can be used as everyday treats, training rewards or a tasty topper for their food. You can feed them whole or add them over meals for an extra burst of flavour and variety.
